The LaVey Personality Synthesizer is a system for typing people according to certain physical and psychological/emotional traits.  When used correctly, you will find it remarkably accurate.  For his purposes and to make it simple to use, he based the synthesizer on the numbers of a clock, with Twelve being the most masculine type, and Six being the most feminine.  Since most people will not fall directly on a number, the clock is split into quarters to make up for the subtle variations in type.

The people who will find you most attractive (and vice versa) will be those directly opposite you on the clock.  You will find your most compatible mates and best friends will fall into this category.  So it follows that if you want to bewitch someone, find out their position and do your best to appear to be their opposite type.

There are certain color cues that correspond to the positions on the clock, as well.  Eleven to one  o' clocks tend to like and look best in blacks and bright, primary colors.  Two to fours in dark blues and greys.  Those on the bottom of the clock do best with sea greens and other soft colors, while those on the left of the clock should gravitate towards browns, golds and other earthy colors.  Keep in mind, though, that no matter where you are on the clock, every witch should have one bright red dress in her closet, even if she has nothing else.   White and pink are also always good colors for enchantment.
